Experience the ultimate combination of the “McKinley” and “Canyon Run” on this thrilling boat adventure. Spend 4 hours on the water, with a total trip duration of 5.5 hours. Daily check-in times are at 7:30 a.m. from June 5 to Sept 3rd, and 12:30 p.m. from May 20th to Sept 10th. The adventure begins with the scenic “McKinley Run” on class II and III waters, offering breathtaking views of the Nenana River's wilderness. Take a break in between runs for a quick snack before gearing up for the exciting “Canyon Run.” Hang on tight as you navigate through thrilling rapids like “Cable Car,” “Coffee Grinder,” and “Ice Worm” on your way to Healy. Choose between Oar Rafts and Paddle Rafts, with both options running the same rapids on the river. Perfect for first-timers, an oar raft allows you to sit back and enjoy the ride while the guide rows. Alternatively, paddle rafts require active participation from all participants, following the guide's instructions on paddling. This adventure is suitable for ages 12 and older, offering an unforgettable experience for all. - Class I, II, III, and IV rapids - Rafts require 5 paddlers - 22 miles of scenic to rugged river - Suitable for ages 12 and older
