South Island SUP offers high quality paddle boards from Red Paddle Co and Starboard, as well as carbon paddles from Blackfish. Customers have the option to have their boards delivered to their preferred beach, or they can pick them up themselves. Soft racks and straps are available to fit most cars, and multi-person boards are also available for those looking to paddle with friends or family. Full day and multi-day rentals are offered, providing flexibility for customers looking to explore the waters at their own pace. Customers can easily access their paddle boards by walking, running, biking, taking the bus, or driving to the beach. For those looking to improve their skills on the water, mini lessons can be added to the rental for an additional fee. If the preferred rental time is not available on the calendar, customers can contact South Island SUP to arrange hourly, daily, multi-day, or weekly rentals. Travel boards such as the 9'6 or 11" Compact from Red Paddle Co are available for rent, weighing just 17 lbs for easy transportation. When heading out for a paddle boarding adventure, customers are advised to wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions and water activity, avoiding cotton materials. It is recommended to bring a towel, a change of clothes, and optionally drysuits, wetsuits, boots, and gloves for added comfort in the water (additional fee applies). Customers should also bring a strap for their glasses and leave electronic keys, phones, etc. on shore or rent a dry bag for their gear to keep them safe and dry during the adventure. - High quality boards from Red Paddle Co and Starboard - Carbon paddles from Blackfish - Boards can be delivered or picked up - Full day and multi-day rentals available - Mini lessons can be added for an additional fee.
Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of CAD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
