Adventure Details
Embark on an afternoon sailing and snorkeling tour along the beautiful Kona Coast aboard the spacious 50-foot catamaran, Hoku Nui. The adventure begins at Keauhou Bay at 2 pm, where you may spot Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins, Humpback Whales (seasonal Dec-April), and other marine life. As you sail towards Kealakekua Bay, home to the iconic Captain Cook Monument, get ready for an unforgettable snorkeling experience in the Marine Sanctuary. Explore the vibrant reef and capture the colorful schools of fish and spinner dolphins with an underwater camera. Prices for the tour are $125 per adult, $75 per child (4-12), and $45 per toddler (3 and under). The trip includes water, soft drinks, local juices, and snacks. Personal snorkel gear is welcome, but full-face masks are not allowed for safety reasons. Dress comfortably and wear shoes that are easy to remove as Sea Paradise operates "shoe-less boats." Remember to bring swimwear, a cover-up, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen, hat, towel, and camera. Gratuities are not included in the price but are greatly appreciated by the crew. Check-in at Keauhou Bay at the end of Kaleiopapa Street, Kailua Kona, HI 96740, and meet directly at the pier 15 minutes before departure. E-waivers for each guest must be signed prior to check-in. The tour includes approximately one hour of snorkeling time in Kealakekua Bay near the Captain Cook Monument, described as one of the best snorkeling spots in the state. After creating majestic memories on your Sea Paradise trip, the Hoku Nui will sail back to Keauhou Bay by 5 pm.
